Eid al Fitr

Il 24 e il 25 Giugno 2017, con l’apparire della luna nuova del mese di Shawwal, per 1,6 miliardi di musulmani è terminato il mese di Ramadan, periodo nel quale è stato osservato  il digiuno dall’alba al tramonto, come prevede il quarto dei cinque pilastri dell’Islam. In questo mese sacro iniziò la rivelazione del Corano, “come guida per gli uomini e prova chiara di retta guida e di salvezza.”

Il giorno successivo, i musulmani di tutto il mondo si sono riuniti nelle moschee e nei luoghi di preghiera per celebrare la festa dell’ Eid al-Fitr (festa dell’Interruzione), che inizia con la preghiera comunitaria del mattino, in cui viene ringraziato Dio per averli sostenuti nello sforzo.
